Sou barco de vela e remo

Não tenho escala marcada
nem hora para chegar:
é tudo conforme o vento,

Muitas vezes acontece largar o rumo tomado
da praia para onde ia…
Foi o vento que virou?
foi o mar que enraiveceu
e não há porto de abrigo?
ou foi a minha vontade
de vagabundo do mar?
Sei lá.
Fosse o que fosse
não tenho rota marcada
ando ao sabor da maré.
É por isso, meus amigos,
que a tempestade da Vida
me apanhou no alto mar.
E agora
queira, ou não queira
cara alegre e braço forte:
estou no meu posto a lutar!
Se for ao fundo acabou-se.
Estas coisas acontecem
aos vagabundos do mar.
